The first day of school is almost here! We are excited to welcome our students back on Monday, August 3, and wanted to share a few reminders to help make the day go as smoothly as possible.
Monday Schedule
School Begins: 8:10 AM

Arrival and dismissal procedures have previously been shared via email and are also available on our website and social media pages. Please expect heavier-than-normal traffic during the first few days of school as everyone adjusts to our new routines. We appreciate your patience as we begin the school year together.
Monday Morning
All students should report directly to their 3rd period class upon arrival Monday morning.
Students should use StudentVue or the posted class lists to locate their 3rd period assignment.

Hallway between A & B Buildings
Bottom of the E Atrium
Freshmen: Yellow lists
Grades 10-12: Blue lists
Schedules
Students will receive their most current schedule in their 3rd period class Monday morning and should follow that schedule for the remainder of the day.
Schedule changes will not be made Monday. Students may submit a Schedule Change Request Form in the Counseling Office. Our counselors will begin reviewing requests after the first day of school and will spend the remainder of the week working through individual schedule change requests.
Additional Reminders
Breakfast will be served. Lunch will not be served due to the abbreviated day.
Students with an open period should report to the cafeteria during that period.
All students, including Work-Based Learning and Dual Enrollment students, should report to campus Monday morning.
Staff members will be throughout the building to help students find classrooms.
QR codes linking to building maps are posted throughout the building, and paper maps are available upon request.

Where do I report Monday morning?
Report directly to your 3rd period class. Your 3rd period assignment can be found in StudentVue or on the posted class lists located outside the Main Office, between A & B Buildings, and at the bottom of the E Atrium.
I forgot my schedule. What do I do?
Report to your 3rd period class. You will receive your most current schedule there.
I need a schedule change.
Attend the classes listed on the schedule you receive Monday. Submit a Schedule Change Request Form in the Counseling Office. Counselors will begin reviewing requests after the first day of school and will spend the remainder of the week working through schedule change requests.
I have an open period. Where do I go?
Report to the cafeteria.
I can't find my classroom. What do I do?
Ask any staff member for assistance. Staff members will be throughout the building to help students find classrooms.
I am enrolled in Dual Enrollment. Where do I report?
TCAT & DSCC: Little Theater
Cosmetology: Room 39
Welding: Room 25
I am enrolled in Work-Based Learning (WBL). Where do I report?
Report to the Socratic Room (Room 42) during your assigned WBL period.
My schedule says lunch is 7th period. Does that mean lunch is at the end of the day?
No. Lunch is listed as 7th period for scheduling purposes only. On regular school days, grades 10-12 eat during 4th period, and 9th grade eats during 5th period. Lunch will not be served Monday.
Someone parked in my assigned parking space. What should I do?
Simply park in another available student parking space. Parking assignments will begin being enforced during the second week of school.
How will traffic flow during arrival and dismissal?
Please refer to the Arrival and Dismissal email sent on July 31. The same information is also available on our website and social media pages.
How do I find my bus?
Bus routes and pickup times are coordinated through the Henry County Schools Transportation Department. Teachers will work with all bus riders on Monday to ensure they know their correct bus before dismissal.
My student needs medication at school. What should we do?
Medication must be brought to school by a parent or guardian and checked in with the school nurse.
What supplies should students bring?
Paper, a pencil, and a positive attitude. Teachers will communicate any additional supplies needed during the first week.
