As we prepare for the first day of school, I wanted to share our arrival and dismissal procedures for the 2026-27 school year. Please note that the information below reflects our normal full-day schedule.
Because Monday is a half day, dismissal times will be adjusted for the first day only. Parent pick-up gates will open at 11:15 AM, and students will be dismissed at 11:40 AM. Beginning Tuesday, we will follow our regular schedule with parent pick-up gates opening at 3:00 PM for our 3:15 PM dismissal.
Please take a few moments to review the procedures below before Monday. Following these traffic patterns will help us move students safely and efficiently, especially during the first few days of school. We also appreciate your patience and cooperation as students, families, and staff adjust to these procedures during the first couple of weeks of school. Working together, we can make arrival and dismissal as safe and efficient as possible for everyone.
2026–27 Arrival Procedures
Building opens at 7:10 AM
Arrival Between 7:10–7:40 AM
• All students enter through the Main Entrance and report to PatriotXL in the Library
Arrival After 7:40 AM
9th Grade (Grove):
• Drop off and enter at E1 Entrance
(across from Fieldhouse)
• Report to Auxiliary Gym
10th–12th Grade (HCHS):
• Drop off and enter at
C2 Entrance
(North C Parking Lot)
• Report to Cafeteria
Students dismissed to class at approximately 7:55 AM
School begins at 8:10 AM
2025–26 Dismissal Procedures – Parent Pick-Up
Campus gates open at 3:00 PM
Students will be dismissed at 3:15 PM
Parent Pick-Up (Lime Green Route on Map):
• Enter campus from Lankford Street
starting at 3:00 PM
•Follow traffic signs and
turn right at the Band House.
• Continue between the
practice field and the Wellness Building
Traffic Lanes:
•Left lane = Parent Pick-Up Lane
(wait for your student, and pull forward as space allows)
• Right lane = Exit Lane
(keep moving—no stopping)
Once your student is in the car, pull into the right lane to exit campus
Please note the loading zone on the map. For safety and traffic flow purposes, we ask that students load vehicles along the edge of the practice football stadium and behind the visitor stadium bleachers.
Student Drivers & Staff Parking
All students and staff should exit campus according to the
traffic flow pattern labeled on the map. Parking areas are color-coded Red, White, and Blue, with arrows indicating proper exit routes.
