There are 3 programs of study within the Health Science pathway offered at HCHS. The classes within each program of study must be taken in order.

Diagnostic Services (radiology, medical laboratory, optometry, phlebotomy, sonography, cardiovascular technology, & any other medical career focusing on medical tests for patients) 1) Health Science 2) Anatomy & Physiology 3) Diagnostic Medicine 4) Cardiovascular Services, or Phlebotomy, or Clinical Internship
Therapeutic Services (pharmacology, dietetics, dentistry, surgical technology, healthcare administration, health education, speech/language/audiometry, anesthesiology, epidemiology, medical research, informatics, PT, OT, athletic training, personal training, massage therapy, chiropractics, rehabilitative careers, or any other medical career focusing on therapeutics) 1) Health Science 2) Anatomy & Physiology 3) Medical Therapeutics or Pharmacology or Rehabilitative Careers 4) Clinical Internship
Clinical Patient Services (Medicine: medical assistant, physician assistant, any type of physician Nursing: CNA, LPN, RN, nurse practitioner, nurse anesthetist, midwife, or any other medical career in which the student wants patient interaction experience) 1) Health Science 2) Anatomy & Physiology 3) Medical Therapeutics 4) Rehabilitative Careers (optional but recommended) 5) Clinical Patient Services
