A Little About Me:

My name is John Norwood. I am Henry County HS Class of 2000 graduate, and Henry County resident since my early teenage years. I reside in Henry County with my wife, and together have raised our four children in both the Paris Special School and Henry County School District. My background spans a wide array of fields, from time spent in the US Army right out of high school, nearly a decade in manufacturing, over a decade working in higher education in various roles from College Recruiter, to Director of Admissions and Recruitment before coming to work for Henry County High School. My college education began at Bethel University at the age of 26 where I went to college one night a week to complete a Bachelor of Science in Management and Organizational Development, then on to complete my first graduate degree from American Public University which was a Master of Arts in American History, then followed by a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Capella University. I am currently working to complete a third graduate degre which is a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
